 Villa Solo is situated in village called Peracko Blato on the road to Vrgorac, between city's Split and Dubrovnik-known as pearls of Croatia. Villa Solo was built as type of family hotel and was finished in 2002. It is situated in peacefull and baetifull green nature, right on the coast of "lake of Bacina ". Since this is Southtern part of country, area has Meediteeran clima and due to that tourism and agroculture are the most important fielas of economy.
Please respect nature. Many birds, fish, plants and small animal species live by the lake. Take only photos, leave only footprints. Your participation in this trip will help us to keep Bacina lakes as beautiful as it always were!
Marathon of traditional Neratvanien boats
One of a kind, sports competition in the world on relation Metkovic-Ploce (23 km). Crew of one boat contains 10 boatmen, a drummer and skipper. More then 30 crews enter the contest, most of them representative of the villages beside river Neretva.Average accomplished speed is 11 km/h. Termin: The second Saturday in August.
Canoe Safari
Easy canoeing trip is suitable for all: young couples, families, even grandfathers and grandchildren. You will quickly learn to paddle in canoes with two or three seats which are very stable and easy to row. No previous canoeing experience is needed and even 6-year old children can participate, with life jackets, of course, for all.
100 years ago village Resna Kosa was the most populated place in region West Plina. During migration, after the WW2 domestic clan of Krsticevic were situated in village Peracko Blato. During a 45 minutes hiking tour explore abandonee villages, learn about ancient lifestyle and feel the spirit of past time. Over the village you have beautiful sight to the lakes, delta of river Neretva and Adriatic sea. Enjoy.
